Focusing on the Asia Pacific region, the Channel Manager (CM) wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners. The CM is responsible for identifying, recruiting, training, and managing new and existing business partners within the assigned territory.

The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market.

The Channel Manager reports to the Director, Global Channel Programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
• Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
• Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
• Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
• Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
• Proactively recruits new qualifying partners.
• Responsible for all inbound and outbound communications from the partners, the partners operating locations, and the partners customers and clients regarding Intermap products, services, policies, and operating procedures
• Proactively manages and interprets contracts and contractual obligations, including periodic review, negotiation, and assisting in the creation of new contracts, contract amendments, and contract renewals
• Effectively adheres to and leads efforts at providing accurate forecasting;
• Uses and assists in developing marketing programs to effectively increase channel sales and market penetration in order to meet sales and profit goals;
• Accomplished in customer management systems (SalesForce.com)
• Some international travel may be required
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirements:
The Channel Manager is required to demonstrate a balance of strong client relationship management, organizational, and business skills preferably, though not mandatory, in the fields of mapping and remote sensing. A minimum of 3 years of direct and progressive experience in the sales field, with specific international channel partner management experience is required. It is preferable to demonstrate sales experience in the area of spatial data, ideally both elevation data and imagery.

• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
• English writing and speaking skills, plus a minimum of one of the following: a) Bahasa- Indonesia/Melayu (Preferred), b) Mandarin, or c) Thai.
• At least three years experience, within the geospatial field, with direct or indirect sales, account management, technical support, customer service (or a combination thereof)
• Three years minimum technical experience with geospatial analysis software (e.g. ArcGIS, GlobalMapper, ERDAS APOLLO)
• Technically competent with computer hardware and software typically found in a modern business environment, including the Microsoft Office suite
• Professional, with extremely strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present concepts and ideas to groups of people
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com software required

Specific to Intermap’s Channel Sales the Channel Manager must be able to:
• Meet established revenue and booking channel sales objectives for the territory;
• Develop and execute a winning Sales and Marketing strategy for the territory and major business partners;
• Demonstrate that he/she is a proven team player;
• Conduct Intermap business with the highest level of transparency and integrity;
• Be a strong, positive direct contributor;
• Understand, align and follow Intermap’s sales processes and methodologies;
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and be experienced in conducting business within the territory.

Job Description:
The Product Manager owns the product plan. They will lead the entire product lifecycle. This includes defining product vision and roadmap, gathering and prioritizing customers, partners, and market requirements. They will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to achieve stated revenue projections.

Job Summary:
Own and execute the business plan that delivers $5M in 2012 3DBI revenue worldwide. The business plan includes: competitive overview, pricing strategy, Web-based product deliverables, sales forecasts and marketing tactical plans.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Product Management and Product Marketing experience a requirement.
  • Extensive problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Understanding of software development and quality best practices.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design used to implement RF/MW designs.
  • Define, publish, and evangelize the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with revenue plan.
  • Fulfill product market research on competition, market verticals, TAM/SAM and go-to-market strategy.
  • Translate business objectives into engineering and operations requirements and set all product release/feature priorities.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the product and provide direction/priorities to engineering and operations in their support of the product lifecycle.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
  • Develop, publish, and administer the NEXTMap product management process.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
