Our terrain data fusion services produce an elevation dataset that is more accurate and useful than the two individual input elevation datasets. Our world-class, ISO-certified production facility uses our proprietary process to integrate and align the LiDAR or satellite data with the NEXTMap reference layer resulting in a seamless transition between the datasets – maintaining all the detail and accuracy of the higher resolution data. Additionally, the end product is hydro-enforced to ensure that structures over water bodies (such as bridges and culverts) are removed, water surfaces are flat, and watercourses flow downstream.
