Customer applications
Customized applications offer complete solutions for customers' specific needs or special requests. These solutions are developed when a highly specialized application for a precisely defined task cannot be easily accomplished from an ordinary GIS system, or is too complex for an already-developed GIS system (for example, the generation of contour lines). However, there are some situations in which a simple solution would be preferable to the complexities of a full GIS package.

The modular architecture of Aquarius.NET system allows the quick and efficient modification of solutions according to customer needs. One type of solution is a standalone Windows-based application, while others include an intranet or Internet application. The latter solution allows simultaneous connection to hundreds of users via an Internet browser — a simple and intuitive solution that requires only minimal training for its users. The purchase of the solution includes installation, training, and technical support.

GIS services
Intermap's insurance team has a long history in GIS development and implementation, and offers GIS consulting services and development technical support as well as access to digital maps and other spatial data files.

Data and processing
Intermap's risk management applications team can convert conventional paper map sources to a digital format. The workflow includes the creation of precise color scans of the original document, and then combining those scans into a seamless digital map of the entire area. We can also transform raster sources into various coordinate systems used in GIS software packages. The resulting data is offered in industry-standard system formats, such as ArcView.
