Intermap Technologies was founded in 1996 and has employees and operations worldwide that serve a growing digital elevation model (DEM), geographic information systems (GIS), and geospatial marketplace.
Intermap produces 3D geometric models and orthorectified radar images, as well as numerous geospatial-enabled products from our proprietary airborne Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IFSAR) technology. We have collected, and continue to build, a library of geometric data and imagery products that provide a precise and accurate digital model of the shape of the earth's surface at an unprecedented accuracy. These products serve a wide range of commercial, government, military, and consumer applications.
Our unique data acquisition technology enables us to quickly and affordably obtain large and uniform datasets, at night or in cloudy conditions. Through our NEXTMap® program, we're proactively collecting complete and accurate map databases of entire countries- something never before undertaken on a commercial basis.
Intermap Technologies operates from offices in Denver, Calgary, Ottawa, Munich, and Jakarta. Intermap stock is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol IMP and on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market under the symbol IMAP.
