Intermap 3D Roads is a unique product that maps every road in a country to a high accuracy, thus serving as a base for many Automotive Applications. Due to the inherent advantages of remote aerial sensing, Intermap captures all roads, from major highways down to the smallest rural and neighborhood streets. We offer geometric accuracies significantly better than traditional maps used for navigation, as well as a completely homogeneous data set, with all 3D Road data being derived from the same method, compared to other maps which are more patchwork efforts. In addition to offering its own product, Intermap has the competence and tools to combine its own road data with that of other map vendors, to produce a comprehensive final product tailored to specific project needs.

Intermap DEM for 3D In-dash Visualization Applications
Intermap's DEM is a comprehensive and accurate 3D terrain model that can be added to vehicle in-dash navigation systems to provide better orientation, a truer representation of surroundings, and that visual 'wow' factor. Such 3D visual elements can significantly improve navigation system user-friendliness, perceived value, and competitiveness. Intermap also offers shaded imagery products whereby objects in 2D can be made to look like 3D and can be used more easily by existing systems. Furthermore, the Intermap DEM and its derived products can also serve as the optimal base layer for geo-referencing other maps' layers and 3D objects such as buildings and landmarks.
