Whether yours is a one-person GIS shop or your enterprise is spread over several locations with dozens of staff, access to high-quality, uniformly accurate digital elevation data and imagery is critical to your organization’s success. With TerrainOnDemand^®, the company’s online data store, Intermap Technologies^® has developed a convenient method to instantly download its NEXTMap^® data, 24 hours a day. The entire current library of NEXTMap datasets, including digital terrain models, digital elevation models, orthorectified radar images, and other products, is available through TerrainOnDemand.

Now, Intermap has made the availability of its NEXTMap data even more convenient, with its Managed Accounts option. Regular purchasers of NEXTMap data can establish a managed account with access and a payment method that suits their needs.

Customized Control

Intermap can develop a company’s own TerrainOnDemand site, complete with company logos, that can be accessed by employees to purchase and download NEXTMap data whenever – and wherever – they need it. The panel on the right side of the Web site is entirely customizable with your text content, such as a welcome message for new users of the site, or corporate guidelines for data store use.

You always control who has access to purchase and download data – your Managed Account administrators specify which persons at your company have access permissions. In addition to managing TerrainOnDemand users, Managed Account administrators at your company can review order histories and account activities.  

Intermap will construct a Web site specifically for your company‘s TerrainOnDemand users. The top banner (outlined in red) is customized with your corporate logo and colors. The panel on the right (outlined in green) can display text that‘s specific to your company, such as a welcome message or corporate usage guidelines. 

Payment Options

You choose from two payment plans to best suit your needs – using either option, there’s no need to use a credit card for individual purchases. For a contract managed account, Intermap will send your company a convenient monthly invoice; for a cash managed account, your company funds the account with credits against which future purchases are drawn.
