DENVER - Intermap Technologies Corp. today announced that DCSE, Inc., a Geographical Information System (GIS) consulting firm specializing in the development of Web-based information and collaboration portal applications, has renewed their contract to distribute Intermap's 3D digital elevation data and geometric images.

"Continuing this partnership will allow our customers to purchase some of the most reliable terrain data on the market today,” said Masoud Hoseyni, PhD, president of DCSE. "Intermap's high-resolution digital elevation models and images are perfectly suited for a variety of robust geospatial applications, including hydrologic runoff, spill, reservoir capacity, and viewshed analysis, as well as hydraulic modeling and treatment plant sitings."

DCSE focuses on enterprises in three industries — water companies, environmental consulting companies, and IT/software development organizations. Furthermore, the Company's application development services unit has more than 100 years of combined experience in developing large-scale information management systems. DCSE's customers include the State of California Department of Water Resources, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, South Florida Water Management District, Motorola Corporation, and ConEdison Utilities of New York, to name a few.

“We are pleased to extend our relationship with a GIS partner as reliable and committed to customer service as DCSE,” stated Richard Smolenski, Intermap's vice president of sales. "Many of DCSE's existing water, environmental, and software development customers have already benefited from the highly reliable and uniform digital elevation data Intermap has provided. It's satisfying to know that these organizations are using our data to improve the quality of life and provide valuable services within their companies. We look forward to continuing to enable DCSE to server their customer base."
