DENVER: Intermap Technologies announced that it has been named by Oracle Corporation, during the 2009 Oracle Spatial User Conference, as this year's winner of the annual Oracle Spatial Excellence Innovator Award for innovation in the use of geospatial technology. Intermap used Oracle Spatial to create a consistent, secure storage environment that has reduced error of data loss and corruption, while greatly improving the manageability and security of Intermap's spatial data assets.
