DENVER – (TSX:IMP) Intermap Technologies reported today that it has completed the organizational restructuring efforts that began in 2010 with an additional 30% reduction in headcount in the Company’s North American and European offices. The additional restructuring and headcount reduction follow Intermap’s appointment of Todd Oseth as president and CEO of Intermap in December 2010, and supports the Company’s overall effort to reduce operating expenses and manage cash burn. On an annualized basis, the net impact on total expenses, after severance related costs, will be a reduction of approximately $4.1 million of personnel related expenses. Severance costs of approximately $1.0 million will be paid out on a payroll-by-payroll basis over an extended period of time throughout 2011.
“The further restructuring of the Company’s employee base was a necessary step to move the Company to future profitability,” said Todd Oseth, Intermap’s president and CEO. “From this position of lowered expense levels and as revenues increase during 2011, our operating objective is to reach positive EBITDA and cash flow as rapidly as possible. Today we are well positioned to deliver on numerous customer opportunities in both mapping services and the delivery of a wide array of 3D geospatial content enabled through cloud-based web services.”

DENVER – Intermap Technologies today announced the appointment of Nigel Jackson, to the position of interim chief financial officer, effective October 4, 2010. Mr. Jackson replaces outgoing vice president and CFO, Brian Musfeldt, who remains employed with the Company until November 1, 2010.
Mr. Jackson previously served as Intermap’s vice president finance and secretary from 1996 to 2003. Since March of 2007 Nigel has served as and remains the President Director of PT Exsamap Asia, Intermap's essential data editing Indonesian subsidiary that currently employs 389 people. He is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario, Canada - CMA and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, ACMA(UK).

DENVER – Intermap Technologies, a worldwide 3D digital mapping and geospatial solutions company, today announced an organizational restructuring. Total employee headcount has been decreased by 17%, including a significant reduction at the executive level. The restructuring follows Intermap’s completion of the NEXTMap Europe and NEXTMap USA datasets, and supports management’s effort to lower expenses in alignment with current revenues. The net impact on total expenses, after severance, is a reduction of approximately $3.6 million, or 9% annually. Severance costs of approximately $1.1 million will be paid out on a payroll by payroll basis over an extended period throughout 2010 and 2011.
“With NEXTMap completed, Intermap has been undergoing the transition from an engineering and production company to a streamlined customer- and market-driven organization,” said Howard Nellor, Intermap’s interim CEO. “Today’s changes are part of this transition as we focus on the federal and civil government, national mapping programs, defense and intelligence mapping, insurance and risk management, telecommunication, the automotive industry, and cloud-based web services. From an operations perspective, our objective is to reach positive cash flow for 2011 through reduced expenses and increased revenue from current and new customer contracts.”

DENVER - Intermap Technologies Corp. today announced the passing of Dr. Craig Marks at approximately 11:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2009. A member of the Intermap board of directors for over a decade, Dr. Marks received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology and worked for 37 years in engineering and technology development in the automotive industry. He spent 27 years in engineering at General Motors and then went on to executive positions within TRW and Allied Signal (now Honeywell). After leaving Allied Signal, Dr. Marks was engaged as an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan. He joined the Intermap board of directors in January 1998 and was a driving force in shaping the Company's current and future vision.
"Intermap has lost a fine and dedicated director, and Michigan has truly lost one of its finest citizens," said Brian Bullock, Intermap's president and CEO. "In Intermap's very early days, Craig commented that when we discover a new way to measure things, great inventions follow. Craig believed as I do that Intermap's vision has a higher purpose that will benefit our society by making automobile travel safer and more efficient. Craig has been an example to all around him of how to balance a successful career with family life, and service to the community. He graduated life with honor and without regret and I will miss him deeply."
The Company is conducting a search for a replacement member to the board of directors and expects to announce a new member by the end of this calendar year.

Steven Zaroukian joins the company as the director of automotive business development in Detroit supporting North America and Asia. His extensive background includes 25 years in the automotive industry with Panasonic Automotive Systems and Johnson Controls. Steven's experience encompasses strategic product planning with major original equipment manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda, and Mitsubishi.

DENVER— Intermap Technologies Corp. today announced the passing of Mr. Richard D. Tingle at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 27. A member of the Intermap board of directors for nearly a decade, Mr.Tingle had practiced law in Calgary, Alberta, Canada since 1964 and received his Queen's Counsel designation in 1981. He joined the Intermap board of directors in 1997 and was a driving force in shaping the Company's current and future vision.
