The Risks of Outdated Flood Data

I regret to inform you that our Flood Modeling Webinar scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, 2008, has been postponed until later this year. Intermap appreciates your support and interest in our ongoing webinar series. We will notify you when a new date and time has been arranged. In the mean time, if you have any questions regarding our geospatial products and how we enable flood applications, please give your account manager a call.

When risk management and flood modeling professionals base their projects on unreliable flood mapping data, the consequences can be severe - for individuals and insurance companies alike. This Webinar focuses on the inadequacies of current flood maps and the potential costs, both human and financial, associated with reliance on outdated elevation data. Discussion topics include current map modeling techniques, what individuals and companies need to know regarding the FEMA National Flood Insurance Policy, and how accurate data can help enable address-specific flood modeling.
