DENVER — Intermap Technologies today announced the expansion of their AccuTerra™ GPS maps product line into Western Europe. The launch of AccuTerra Europe ushers in a new breed of GPS maps, with unprecedented detail, accuracy, and uniformity—unavailable in Europe until now. Targeted to meet the needs of millions of outdoor enthusiasts across Western Europe and the rapidly growing handheld GPS market, AccuTerra Europe provides users with greater access to high-tech GPS maps to enrich their outdoor experiences. Derived from elevation data collected as part of the Company's NEXTMap® Europe digital mapping program, AccuTerra Europe provides high accuracy shaded reliefimagery, topographic contour lines, hydrology detail, and land cover classifications.
