DENVER – Intermap Technologies, a worldwide 3D digital mapping and geospatial solutions company, today announced that Todd Oseth has joined the Company, effective December 06,2010, as its president and chief executive officer.  Mr. Oseth has been appointed to drive the monetization of Intermap’s valuable NEXTMap database and its associated products and services offerings, advancing Intermap’s transition to a customer- and market-driven organization.

An accomplished executive, Mr. Oseth brings a wealth of experience to Intermap having successfully led several companies through extensive change – most recently as president and CEO of Neterion, a leader in I/O virtualization.  In early 2010, he facilitated the successful acquisition of the company by Exar Corporation.

From Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, Todd Oseth’s 30 years of leadership at technology companies  has encompassed the aspects of product management, sales, marketing, engineering, and operations in the network, computing, and data storage industries.  Mr. Oseth replaces Howard Nellor, a member of the board of directors, who has been interim CEO since August of this year.

“Todd brings strong leadership skills, broad functional experience, and a reputation for exceeding expectations to the Company.  The board of directors is extremely pleased to acquire such a high caliber candidate.” stated Mr. Nellor.  “Todd’s track record for leading transitional companies to success makes him the right person for Intermap at this time.”

“I’m excited to join Intermap at this stage in the Company’s development,” stated Mr. Oseth. “The talented team at Intermap has built a very unique and valuable asset and I see great opportunity for the Company.  We have the foundation and the people for outstanding products and services to meet the needs of customers across a broad range of industries and geographies.  The potential value is extraordinary.”

Prior to leading Neterion, Mr. Oseth was CEO of ColdStor Data and chief operating officer of McData, before they were acquired by Brocade. There, Mr. Oseth implemented new product strategies to expand addressable markets, increased channel revenues, and doubled the company’s revenue through acquisition and integration.  As an executive at Storm Venture Capital and Sun Capital Partners where he helped rebuild and sell capital assets.  Mr. Oseth also served as vice president of software infrastructure for EMC Corporation where he grew revenue to deliver a profitable software business by expanding  high-availability software revenue through new operating systems and services.  Prior to EMC, Mr. Oseth held a number of executive roles including senior vice president of DataPlay, Inc., CEO of Accent Software, and vice president of Sony Information Technology, where he brought the Sony VAIO computer line to market in 1995.
