Patrick A. Blott, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Blott is the co-founder and managing partner of Blott Asset Management, LLC, a private investment holding company. Since 1992, Mr. Blott has led investments to support growth and restructuring for defense contractors, systems and software providers, and other government regulated companies. He was an original member of Borealis Infrastructure Management (OMERS) and its predecessor. He has held executive roles with Bank of America Securities, JP Morgan, SG Cowen and Bank of Montreal. Mr. Blott is an experienced public company director in geospace, having served as Chairman of the Special Committee for OSI Geospatial, supplier of command and control systems for the U.S. Navy. Mr. Blott holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA in Political Economy from the University of Western Ontario.
Jennifer S. Bakken, Executive Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer Ms. Bakken brings 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, specific to publicly traded companies. She started her career at Arthur Andersen LLP and joined Intermap in 2008. Prior to her current roll, she managed the international finance organization, as Corporate Controller. While responsible for the consolidation, internal and external reporting and tax and regulatory compliance, she maintains a multi-faceted understanding of the business and its operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Stephen Griffiths, Executive Vice President, Value-Added Data Solutions and Chief Technology Officer Mr. Griffiths, educated at the University of Calgary in Astrophysics, has 27 years industry experience in remote sensing. He started his career at Intera working as a Radar project scientist involved in the technology transfer of stereoscopic Radargrammetry to the Calgary office. His work continued with the migration of airborne Radargrammetry into space-borne with RadarSat-1. Later he ran his own company contracting remote sensing software development and production capabilities. This allowed him to develop his skills in digital photogrammetry and LiDAR. He later joined a LiDAR company as the software development manager ultimately becoming the regional manager in Calgary. For the past nine years, he has been working at Intermap a variety of roles including R&D manager, and production software development manager. In the new role as CTO and Executive Vice President of Data Solutions Mr. Griffiths is focused on performance, delivering growth, and driving highly strategic business initiatives to support corporate goals.
Ivan Maddox, Executive Vice President Commercial Solutions Mr. Maddox, a geomatics engineer (University of Calgary, class of ’96) who has over 20 years of experience transforming geospatial information into solutions. Early in his career, he conducted geophysical surveys around the world to support exploration activities. In 2000, he joined Intermap Technologies to support global mapping operations, and over the next six years he helped build the global geospatial datasets that now provide a foundation for Intermap’s diverse solutions. In 2006, he moved to the Denver headquarters office to manage Intermap’s overall mapping operations and, eventually, Denver-based production. For the past four years, Ivan has been the product manager for InsitePro, Intermap’s risk assessment software for natural catastrophe (cat) underwriting. He has brought that product from inception to the market, focusing on flood insurance. In his new role, Ivan will expand Intermap’s software offerings that solve problems for diverse markets.
Greg Hoffman, Vice President, Human Resources Mr. Hoffman brings more than 30 years of diverse and global Human Resources experience to the Intermap team. First joining Intermap in 2004, he is responsible for and leads the corporation’s Human Resources, People Strategy, Talent Management, and Organization Design and Development initiatives. Prior to joining Intermap, Mr. Hoffman served in progressively responsible HR leadership roles in the high-tech industry with Digital Equipment Corp., Quantum Corp., Apple Computer, and Ingersoll Rand. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western State College in Gunnison, CO, and an MBA in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Nigel D. Jackson, Vice President and President Director ExsaMap
Mr. Jackson has held senior management positions at Intermap since its inception in 1996 and possesses more than 30 years of management experience, primarily in the field of finance. Mr. Jackson is also experienced in taxation, legal, business acquisition, and divestitures. Since March of 2007, Mr. Jackson has served as, and remains, the president director of PT Exsamap Asia, Intermap's essential data editing Indonesian subsidiary.
