Intermap Receives $3.5 Million from Sale of Aircraft

DENVER – Intermap Technologies, a worldwide 3D digital mapping and geospatial solutions company, today announced the sale of one of its three aircraft, a King Air 200T, which was no longer required following completion of the Company’s NEXTMap Europe and NEXTMap USA mapping programs. Intermap sold the aircraft for $3.5 million, which will be received in three installments during the fourth quarter of 2010. The King Air is a ‘special missions’ aircraft, provisioned to accept a digital camera or a radar system. The purchaser intends to acquire additional equipment, software, and on-going support from Intermap once regulatory approvals are obtained.

Intermap Technologies Appoints Interim Chief Financial Officer

DENVER –  Intermap Technologies today announced the appointment of Nigel Jackson, to the position of interim chief financial officer, effective October 4, 2010. Mr. Jackson replaces outgoing vice president and CFO, Brian Musfeldt, who remains employed with the Company until November 1, 2010.

Mr. Jackson previously served as Intermap’s vice president finance and secretary from 1996 to 2003. Since March of 2007 Nigel has served as and remains the President Director of PT Exsamap Asia, Intermap's essential data editing Indonesian subsidiary that currently employs 389 people. He is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario, Canada - CMA and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, ACMA(UK).
